The Office of Global Engagement sponsors two awards highlighting internationalization efforts at the University of Georgia, the Richard Reiff Award for Campus Internationalization, which recognizes outstanding achievements in global education, and the International Collaborative Research Award, a team award recognizing significant advancements in research through international collaboration, sponsored jointly with UGA’s Office of Research.

The Richard Reiff Award for Campus Internationalization recognizes full-time faculty at the University of Georgia who have made exceptional contributions to global education through innovative program design and success in instruction. The award seeks to highlight the work of faculty who either advanced global educational opportunities for UGA students or can demonstrate success in enriching the experience of international students at UGA.
The International Collaborative Research Award recognizes a team of scholars with international members based outside of the U.S. for innovative and impactful scholarship addressing significant societal challenges. The award seeks to highlight advancements in research that would not have been possible without international collaboration.
