Call for Proposals: International Research Collaboration Grant (IRC Grant)
Deadline: Monday, October 20th, 2025
Note: This program was formerly known as the Global Research Collaboration Grant or GRCG.
UGA is launching a new round of funding for the International Research Collaboration Grant. The purpose of this support is to encourage the development of sustainable international research and service activities. Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded to support preliminary international research, partnership development, and preparation of proposals in pursuit of specific sources of external funding.
The program is funded by UGA’s Office of Global Engagement and Office of Research in conjunction with academic units.
Grantees may use the funding during the upcoming fiscal year for video conferencing, travel and other collaborative efforts, preliminary data collection, feasibility studies and proposal preparation. To be eligible, proposals must identify and commit to pursue specific sources of external funding as a result of the activities enabled by the grant.
Further details will be outlined in the Call for Proposals.
