Given the significant strengths of the University of Liverpool and the University of Georgia in the humanities and social sciences and the long history of collaboration between the institutions, UoL and UGA are looking to broaden their connectivity through an outcome-oriented faculty summit to be held in Liverpool the week of November 18, 2024. At UGA, this effort is being supported by the Office of Global Engagement, the Owens Institute for Behavioral Research, and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts. During the summit, UGA and UoL faculty working in the humanities and social sciences will engage in topical group discussions and small group project planning sessions with an eye toward developing new collaborative projects capable of generating published academic output and sustaining themselves through future financial support.
