UGA at Oxford Announces Collaboration with Terry College of Business for New International Centers Initiative

UGA at Oxford has announced its latest curriculum addition in partnership
with the Terry College of Business, the Terry Foundations First Core Abroad program.
Running concurrently with UGA at Oxford’s Franklin Spring II Program, this initiative
represents a significant milestone in the long-standing relationship between UGA at Oxford
and Terry, dating back to its first summer course offering in 1999.

Commencing on March 27, 2025, and concluding on June 21, 2025, the inaugural Terry
Foundations program will offer a pilot group of Morehead Honors College students a
distinctive opportunity to engage with fundamental principles of business education while
immersed in Oxford University’s academic environment.

Under the guidance of both UGA and Oxford faculty members, students will earn twelve
semester hours by completing mandatory Terry College of Business Foundations First Core
courses, including FINA 3000: Financial Management, MARK 3000: Principles of
Marketing, and MGMT 3000: Principles of Management, plus 1 to 2 electives. These courses
will be taught during an eight-week session utilizing the individualized tutorial format as per
Oxford’s academic tradition.

Jennifer Chapman, Terry’s international programs director, is enthusiastic about this latest
collaboration between UGA at Oxford and the Terry College, stating “The Core Abroad
program represents further evidence of our collective commitment to preparing students for
success in the modern global economy and to the expansion of international education
opportunities at UGA.”

Prospective students can find further program details, including course offerings and
application information, on the Terry program page on the UGA at Oxford website.
