Introducing First-Year Students to Global Citizenship

The Global Citizenship Cluster brings together FYO seminars with an international or global focus designed to encourage students to reflect on cultural, social, economic, and political differences in a global context. Participating courses are complemented by co-curricular programming, including class presentations on study abroad and sustainability, as well as at least two academic and one networking event tailored specifically to first-year students enrolled in participating seminars.

How to Participate

The Office of Global Engagement, jointly with the Terry College of Business, invites faculty to submit their Fall 2026 First-Year Odyssey (FYO) seminars for consideration as part of the 2026 FYO Global Citizenship Cluster.

Faculty interested in being considered for the cluster should:

2.       Complete the FYO Global Citizenship Cluster interest form at the button below.

Submission Deadline: April 8, 2026
