Junhua Huang, a visiting research scholar to UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, has made the most of her experience at UGA. Dr. Huang was able to further her research in the utilization of wild ornamental plant resources by taking special workshops from plant breeders in Tifton, Athens, and Griffin. She was especially excited about developing her own personal research with the famous flower of Georgia: The Magnolia!
Enjoying the spring season in Georgia the most, she took over 1,000 pictures of flowers on her phone! She encourages other visitors to enjoy the beautiful temperatures and get outside to work, study, or just enjoy a cup of Coffee! Local places she has enjoyed visiting during her time here include Lake Herrick, the State Botanical Garden, and Savannah.
