The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) is hosting its yearly Global Open House to give students and their parents the opportunity to learn more about the Study Away programs offered at the University of Georgia. Program Directors, along with Global Education Advisors, will be on hand for face-to-face meetings with prospective participants, sharing the details of their particular programs.

Last year the event was held virtually due to Covid-19. This year, however, OGE is looking forward to hosting the Open House in-person on Friday, August 27th from 11a.m. -3 p.m. at the Office of Global Engagement, 1324 South Lumpkin St. in Athens. During the event, attendees will be able to interact with program staff and Global Education Advisors in order to learn more about the featured Study Abroad programs as well as scholarship opportunities.

Yana Cornish, Director of Global Education, is excited about the in-person event. “I am thrilled to once again welcome UGA students and their parents to visit the UGA Office of Global Engagement during our Open House showcasing a wide range of study away opportunities available to our students.” said Dr. Cornish. “We am looking forward to the excitement and positive energy this event brings, engaging conversations and a chance to introduce students to extensive resources and study abroad programs.”
